This print is part of my botanical bug series. This series is about challenging your perceptions about bugs as gross or ugly by placing them in forefront surrounded by beautiful flowers.
 
This print features 3 cicadas. The flowers include tulips, magnolias, pansies and hydrangeas.I chose to use a blue colour palette to resemble blue and white pottery.
